By COVID19: NCDC Ambassador, Funke Akindele Hosts Birthday Party Against Govt Ban
Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele is currently under attack on the social media after she violated government directive on social gathering as her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello popularly called JJC Skillzz had a party amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Funke Akindele of the Jenifer’s fame, who also happens to be an Ambassador of the Nigerian Centre for Disease and Control hosted a birthday party for her husband with many friends and family in attendance at their home located in Amen Estate, Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State. It will be recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had announced a ban on gathering of more than 20 people and just recently, an order of partial lock down was given by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Nigerians on social media are currently criticising Funke for hosting such a party which had in attendance few of her friends allegedly said to have just returned from the United Kingdom. Some of the persons criticising her have started calling on the State Government to arrest the actress and her husband for defying the laws and holding a party.
