By We Must Kick Out Refuse In Ikorodu- LGA Chairman, Adesina As He Leads Clean Up Exercise
Cleaner Ikorodu is Possible – Princess Folashade Olabanji Oba
In relentless effort to instill proper environmental culture in our society towards complimenting Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode’s Cleaner Lagos initiative birth the ‘Kick Refuse’ Initiative. The Project kicks start in Ikorodu Central Local Government today 14th August, 2017. It is intended to sensitize and orientate the Ikorodu people to keep their environment clean especially proper disposal of refuse.
According to the Local Government Chairman, Honourable Wasiu Adesina urge the Ikorodu people to keep their environment clean in order to complement the relentless effort of Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode to keep Lagos clean and free from environmental hazards.
The kick off started at exactly 12:00pm at the Ita-elewa open field with the Leadership of the Council, APC party Chieftains, Environmental Corps and the Council of Baales and Chiefs in attendance.
However, Honourable Princes Folashade Olabanji-Oba is indifferent as she urge the Ikorodu people to take the cleaner Lagos initiative ignited by the Lagos State Government with utmost priority especially in order to address the environmental hazards experienced recently.
Before the commencement of the Exercise, the representative of the Council of Baales and Chiefs, the Baale of Omitoro appreciate and laud the ‘Kick Refuse’ Initiative initiated by Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and complimented by the Council Leadership.
The exercise takes through the Ita-elewa Open field, to Ladega, Ajina Market Square, Obaale, Ota-Ona and Itunmoja.
