Alomo Meta crooner, Qdot has revealed his support for the Agbede Shield Cup scheduled to hold sometimes in May,2017. The Rap Music sensation who is also a Peace Ambassador in Ikorodu Division is using his brand to endorse the sporting event as it promotes peaceful coexistence.
Qdot Alagbe as he is fondly called disclosed that the Charity Cup is a perfect atmosphere to nurture peace and build the psyche of the youth against negativity in Agbede Community.
The Charity Shield Cup plans on drawing 4 Representatives from the 9 Communities that makes up Agbede to form two team for a match aimed at contributing to the positive development of the area.
According to a member of the Organising Committee, Olalekan Biliamin Obaa, the future goal of the charity cup is to scout for players that will form Agbede FC in the near future. The competition is also aimed to divert the attention of youths in Agbede community away from crime and other social vices, BlackBox Nigeria was told.
Obaa revealed that the proposed venue for the charity march is Harmonyland Schools, Agbede Omolaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos State. And that a key sponsor of the Agbede Shield Cup is Alhaji Gaffar Bolowotan, the owner of Bolowotan FC.
