By The Mukhtaar Tijani Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has announced the second edition of the annual Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani (MTT) Back 2 School drive.
The project, which began in 2021, reached out to 300 primary school pupils in the Lagos Island area of Lagos, presenting them with school supplies.
For this year’s edition, Lagos Island residents with kids between the ages of 8-12 are expected to send their full names via SMS to 08133005759 to be beneficiaries of the initiative.
Meanwhile, the NGO was established by the General Manager of the Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB), Mr Mukhtaar Tijani who recently emerged as one of the joint winners of ‘Most Outstanding Young Person in Public Service’ category at the maiden Lagos Youth Awards.
In 2021, Mukhtaar Tijani Foundation announced the commencement of its scholarship and mentorship program for the brightest secondary school student who is an indigene of the State and seeking admission into any public university of their choice.
