Just as the debate on the issue of Biafra, referendum, restructuring or true federalism continue to dominate discussions amongst Nigerians, Sen. Hope Uzodinma could have silently made his position clear to anyone who cares to listen as it appears that he has decided to stick with one Nigeria.
The reasons couldn’t be far fetched as he has just given his twin daughters Sofia and Sandra to Mr. David Onyebuchukwu and Mr. Adeola Adeoye respectively.
Mr. Adeola Adeoye who hails from Osun State South West Nigeria is being married to Sandra Nkechi Uzodinma from Imo State South East Nigeria clearly shows that Sen. Hope Uzodinma believes in the indivisibility of Nigeria as a nation. To this extent he has thrown his weight behind one Nigeria and thus any call for separation seems to be buried in his mind as he believes that his daughter will be safe in the hands of Mr. Adeoye Adeola.
This wedding is being graced by the cream de la cream of the political class in Nigeria as Sen. Hope Uzodinma is a serving Senator in the 8th Senate and Chairman Senate Committee on Customs.
Notable personalities in attendance are Deputy Senate President His Excellency Sen. Ike Ekwerenmadu, former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, Sen. Eyinnaya Abaribe, Sen. Goodswill Akpabio, Sen. Dino Melaye, Sen. T. A Orji former governor of Abia state, and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
Other VIPs in attendance are the Minister of Budget and National Planning Sen. Udo Udoma, former governor of Imo State Ikedi Ohakim, PDP National Chairman Sen. Alimodu Sheriff, former Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Former APGA Chairman, Sen. Rose Okoh, embattled former PDP Spokesperson Olisa Metuh and many others.
