Joseph Aloba, the father of Ilerioluwa Aloba, a Nigerian singer better known as Mohbad on stage, has revealed how his son and Wunmi, his wife, met.
He said that they met at Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label where Mohbad was said to be reportedly assaulted.
Recall that the popular singer died on September 12, 2023, in Lagos State with police currently carrying out its investigation to unravel his mysterious death.
Meanwhile, the bereaved father noted that Mohbad is a simple and modest individual, adding he and his wife had known each other at a very tender age at Oke-Iletu, Ikorodu, Lagos, before they were able to reconnect at Naira Marley’s label finally.
He maintained they didn’t have any string or relationship before they reconnected.
“He (Mohbad) met the lady (Wunmi) there (at Marlian Music) but they had known each other from Oke-Iletu, even though the lady was a student then,” he said.
