By Now former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko on Thursday handed power over to the newly elected Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu SAN in Akure.
The ceremony which was held late Thursday had heavy security presence in the State’s capital.
It was reported that Mimiko exercised his last powers by appointing heads of the State’s tertiary institutions.
He appointed Mr Idowu Olgunagba as the Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo and Professor Sunday Ogunduyile as the Vice Chancellor of Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.w
