Saratu Atta, former wife of Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode was on Wednesday appointed along with eleven others to the kitchen cabinet of Ghana’s President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Mrs Saratu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political and International Studies from University of Warwick, UK.
She got married to Fani-Kayode in 1987 and had a daughter for him same year. They parted ways in 1990 when Mr Fani-Kayode found another love in Yemisi Wada. Oluwafolake Fani-Kayode is her only daughter.
She worked as Securities Trader at First Securities Discount House, Lagos from 1993 till 1997. After then, she established her security printing company, also in Lagos.
Her journey into the Ghanaian politics started in 2008 when she was appointed as the Campaign Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). After then, she was appointed as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to Mr Akufo-Addo since 2009. She is 53 years old.
