Meet Plateau State Student Who Scored 9 As In 2020 WASSCE

Miss Sylvia Ulan Andrew, a citizen of Plateau State, has etched her name in gold in the history books. Ulan who is from Bokkos LGA of the State is a student of Premier Academy, Lugbe, Abuja.

She emerged as the best candidate in the recently conducted WAEC examinations, having scored A1 in all the subjects she sat for during the examinations. Ulan is said to have a history of breaking academic records, she reportedly emerged as the overall best candidate at the National Common Entrance Examinations, a feat which earned her a scholarship by Shell Petroleum.

While receiving the genius at his office, the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong congratulated her for the feat, stating that this development was unsurprising to him because of the abundant talents available in the State. He equally said the State will grant her a scholarship to any University of her choice.

In her remarks expressing her appreciation to the Governor for the warm reception, Ulan explained that she aspires to be a Chemical Engineer, promising that she won’t disappoint him and the people of Plateau State at large.
