Meet Adedapo Lam Adeshina, One Of The Discussants At The Bola Tinubu Youth Summit

 

As the organisers continue to make proper arrangements for this year’s Bola Tinubu Youth Summit, discussants billed to address participants at the event are been unveiled.

One of them is Hon Adedapo Lam Adeshina, a Federal Lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South Federal Constituency of Oyo State at the House of Representatives.

While speaking with BlackBox Nigeria, a member of the organising committee disclosed that Hon Dapo was picked as a discussant because he is a passionate Nigerian who believes in the enthronement of an egalitarian society.

It was also added that the theme for this year’s Summit is; Making Nigeria Work (Synergy Between Leadership & The New Generation). About 1,000 participants are expected to be at the event.

Dapo Lam or Omo Oloore as fondly called by admirers, well wishers and political associates was born on the 25th October, 1978 into the family of Late Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo & Alhaja Sarat Adesina.

He attended the prestigious Government college Ibadan (GCI), he briefly studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Polytechnic, Ibadan (Eruwa Campus), before moving to the premier University of Ibadan where he graduated from the Agricultural and Environmental Engineering department.

His political sagacity started in 1998 when he was elected as the pioneer secretary, Alliance for Democracy (AD), Youth wing of Ibarapa East local government. As an undergraduate in UI, Hon Adesina was elected as the departmental President of AEE students society in year 2005.

He was once the President, Students Liberation Forum (SLF), member of industrial training coordinating centre student committee, both in the University of Ibadan.

Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina is the co-founder and president of Future Initiative Nigeria,a platform for the Nigerian youth, He is also a patron for Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC RS 11:32) and a member of the advisory board of Youth Advocators Network.

    Its good to organize such conference because it will unite the youth in Nigeria.
