Pictorial evidence reaching BlackBox Nigeria at this moment has it that officers of the Nigerian Police in their numbers have mounted blocks to restrict the movements of the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.

According to an aide of the Senate President who will not like to be mentioned, Senator Saraki’s convoy was blocked by a Police vehicle as he tried to drive out of the residence in Maitama area of Abuja. The source disclosed that the former Kwara State Governor was on his way to honour the Police invitation for his connection to the Offa robbery suspects which are still in detention.

In a similar development, some Police officers have also been reportedly sighted restricting the movement of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ekweremadu from his house located in Apo Legislative Quarters.

A source in National Assembly exclusively disclosed to BBN that the leadership of the Legislative arm are being surrounded on alleged orders of lawmakers loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari. The source disclosed that a mass defection of aggrieved lawmakers is expected today on the floor of the Red Chambers.
