By A Nigerian woman, Akinleye Esther has raised alarm over a theft by the last client who rented her short-let apartment in the Gwagwalada area of Abuja.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, via @estakinleye, the businesswoman narrated that the said client spent a total of three weeks with his girlfriend at the place, and his rent expired on August 20.
But to her greatest shock, on getting to the apartment after the client left, Akinleye said it was discovered that the place had been looted and all the items were missing, save for a broom left behind.
She wrote, “Some of the things he carried are my solar kits which contains television, DSTV kits including plate, 3 differents solar panels he went on top of the root and removed all: fan, bed, bed frame, plate, curtains, spoons, water reserve e.t.c. We just started this business.
“The phone number he dropped for his next of kin is not going through likewise his phone numbers. We have been to the police station to report the case but they said they will track his number (when his number start going through) which I don’t know if the number will ever go through.
“We were able to get 2 of his pictures which are attached. During our conversation when he just came, he said he lives in Kubwa, Abuja.
The girlfriend came from benin. Kindly help us post, anyone that can help us locate him or his family member (sic).”
