By The debut edition of the Lagos Youth Awards is set to hold on Boxing Day, December 26, 2021 at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
The organizers made this known in a statement on Monday, while unveiling the nominations list.
Topping the list with three nominations is Nigerian skit maker and activist, Mr Macaroni. Football star and FC Barcelona Femeni forward, Asisat Oshoala bagged two nominations.
An initiative of BBN360, a thriving media company based in Lagos, Nigeria, in collaboration with some youth-based non-profit organizations, the Lagos Youth Awards is designed to celebrate outstanding young people who have positively contributed and excelled in their different fields of endeavour.
This year’s theme is tagged ‘The Working Tribe’ which focuses on hardworking young persons who have through a dent of consistent hard work created a niche for themselves in the centre of excellence, Lagos State.
