By The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ as he fondly calls himself as yet again displayed his magnanimity when he took to his Twitter handle in the late hours of today to promise the replacement of belongings stolen from one of his fan during his #InfinixDavidoLiveInConcert.
Davido made this promise after the said fan tweeted that she was robbed and molested right before the artist and he couldn’t do anything despite the fact that she defied all odds to be at the show.
“I lost my phone, my ATM card and all my money all because you couldn’t pause the show and see that your fans were dying. A grown man groped me, inserted his fingers in my vagina and continuously beat me up. I fell down on broken glass and you just continued”
“I was literally stranded at eko Atlantic all the way from ikeja. I told my mum that only rapture was going to stop me from seeing davido and I wish rapture actually happened before this concert.” She complained.
She further expressed displeasure on the way everything panned out and expressed how she used to be a diehard fan of Davido before the Ugly incident.
“Before this incident I was like your biggest fan.I didn’t have money but I entered a lot of fake giveaways and called my friends to send me money to come and see you at your concert.”
“Now I’m in more debt. All my properties are gone and I have a broken arm and a black eye as souvenirs from your concert. The crazy thing was you looked directly at me and continued performing.” She claimed.
However, after the reply of the award winning hip-hop star that he was going to replace all her belongings and foot her medical bills, the hitherto aggrieved fan expressed her satisfaction.
She wrote, “Thank you @iam_Davido , thank you @InfinixNigeria . I’m really happy.”
Davido’s concert may have come and gone but the trail it leaves behind is still very much fresh as it was also reported that at the concert, Davido had slapped the manager of Kiss Daniel. This development has now brought about a fracas between the two artists.
