The veteran journalist who himself once contested for President was responding to a follower on Instagram who was wondering aloud when Nigerian Politics would seize to be a Family business.

Dele Momodu took out time to school the follower on how Family Politics was a GLOBAL thing.

He cited the cases of the “The Kennedys, Clintons, Kenyattas, Akufo-Addos, the Bush family” amongst others.

Dele Momodu had published a congratulatory post where he revealed that Senator Ademola Adeleke only three months ago didnt have the ambition of being Senator. He was more concerned in ensuring that his demised brother became the next governor of Osun state as they go to polls next year.

“If anyone had told me three months ago that my dear friend DR ADEMOLA NURUDEEN ADELEKE would soon become the most popular politician in Nigeria, I would have said IMPOSSIBLE… Ademola had visited my hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, shortly before the sudden death of his older Brother SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE whose Governorship comeback he wanted me to support… But man proposes and God disposes. Today, Ademola has virtually taken over the global cyberspace with a vengeance as he’s sworn in as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, thus replacing his Brother! May God bless and protect him always…”
