By Lawyer Secures Release Of Alleged 16-Year Old Kidnapper After One Year Without Trial
A young lawyer based in Port Harcourt, Moses Majiuzu, has secured the release of an alleged kidnapper, Miss Miracle, remanded without trial since September 26, 2017.
In a post via his twitter handle @mosesmajiuzu, the younger lawyer said the 16-year old alleged kidnapper has been reunited with her family.
The young lady regained her freedom from Port Harcourt remand home situated at No. 5 Nembe Street, Borikiri, Port Harcourt.
Moses wrote on twitter, ”Aged 16, arrested on the alleged offence of kidnapping and kept at the remand home since 26th September 2017 without being charged to a High Court. I took up the matter and all thanks to God Miss Miracle finally regains her freedom and re-unites with her family.”
