LASU Postpones GNS Exams Indefinitely As Over 10 Students Collapse

It was near pandemonium today in Lagos State University has 100 Level Students of the University trooped out to do their last paper which was a General Nigerian Studies (GNS).

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the University had opened a new ICT Centre and instead of segmenting the students for different days, they were all moved to same day make the whole centre crowded.

In a video posted online, many of the students was seen on the ground after they got choked up with suffocation in an overcrowded hall.

Many of the victims were rushed to the medical center on a bike while others were been resusticated by their fellow students in the scene.
As at the time of preparing this report management is yet to respond.

In the video, the voice of the student taking the video was heard saying Lagos State University (LASU) is the most unorganized school in the country

It is  laughable how we treat human lives in the country. Something like this will not happen in saner climes. Little wonder we are always behind when it comes to certain things. The life of people should be prioritized more in the country.

An alumni of the university who spoke on the condition of anonymity said it is “So sad that the university that should show an organized way of doing things is experiencing this.

“Later we will be blaming the INEC officials and others. Our UNIVERSITY should learn to do it right the first time by having foresight.”
