IGE, Aminat Olawunmi, a postgraduate student of University of Lagos has been announced as the overall best graduating doctoral thesis award winner at the upcoming university 54th convocation ceremony which is scheduled to hold from Monday January 15 to Friday, January 19 at J.F Ade. Ajayi Auditorium.
The event which is scheduled to hold at the university auditorium will commence at exactly 10:00am on each day throughout the days stipulated for the programme.
The information was made known to the public through a billboard erected at every significant places in the university community about the 54th convocation ceremony which will take place.
The billboard reveals that IGE,Aminat Olawunmi emerged as the overall best graduating doctoral thesis student and will be declared as the winner at the convocation.
Ige Aminat Olawunmi had her undergraduate degree from Lagos State university in 2009 as a scholar, a feat which shows distinction among peers before proceeding to do her Masters in Unilag. She has also set another milestone of achievement with the conferment of overall best graduating doctoral thesis award.
While speaking with BlackBox Nigeria, the awardee expressed joy on the conferment but decline questions asked by our respondent.
“I will like to stay off public interviews till after the conferment of the award on the 18th,” she said.
