LASU alumni mourns as youthful Islamic cleric dies of kidney issues

The Lagos State University Alumni Association has been thrown into mourning following the passing of one of its members, Barrister AbdulWahab Olushola Agbomeji.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Agbomeji, who graduated from the institution’s Faculty of Arts in 2010, died in the early hours of Tuesday, after a hard fought battle with kidney problems. He was said to be in his late 30s.

Until his unfortunate death, the lawyer and revered Islamic cleric was the Chief Missioner of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ebute Metta Branch in Lagos State.

According to his family, his remains have since buried at Agbomeji Family Cemetery, Oluwo Market Road in the Epe area of Lagos, in accordance with Islamic rites.
