LASG Evicts Lagos Lawmaker, Funmi Tejuoso From Residence For “Over-staying”
The Lagos State Government has effected the invasion and eviction of Hon Funmi Tejuosho from her former official residence following her over-bearing of staying in the house even after she was issued a quit notice. She has been accused of forcefully claiming the property, even after she was advised to vacate from it.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that, Hon Tejuosho as at 2010 was the Deputy Speaker and was availed to stay in the official house attached to the position, but when she was impeached, she failed to vacate from the property.
It was learnt that rather than Hon Tejuosho vacate from the house, she attempted to buy the house through her company, Debam Mega Solutions Limited. She allegedly bought the two-wing of a 5 bedroom semi-detached house located at 3 Sasegbon Street, Ikeja GRA for a meagre amount as low as N20m.
It was gathered that the then Speaker, Hon Ikuforiji and Governor Fashola urged Tejuosho to vacate from the house but all advises fell on deaf ears as she continued to deprive other Deputy Speakers the priviledge to the property, including the present, Hon Eshinlokun.
BBN gathered from a reliable source that the recent force on Hon Tejusoho was not the doing of Governor Ambode, but a directive from the State House of Assembly who requested the State Government to claim all properties that were sold at undervalued prices.
The source also added that the present administration is all out to claim all properties that were sold at ridiculous prices to the benefits of some individuals at the detriment of the general public.
