By Comrade (Dr) Seriki Muritadha Ishola is the newly appointed Speaker of Lagos Youth Parliament after a keenly contested election alongside by Deji Ogunjobi.
Com Ishola, who is the former President of Nigeria Medical Students Association, NIMSA, represents the Youth of Kosofe Constituency 2 while the runner up represents Ibeju-Lekki 2.
He won the election with a margin of four votes having pulled a total of twenty delegates against that of his close rival, who scored sixteen in the election that was held today around half past noon.
Seriki in his speech noted that he will use his new post to protect and advocate for the interest of youths in Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
