By Amokachi senior BlackBox Nigeria gathered died over the weekend. In a post on facebook thanking his fans for the show of support, the former Olympian said though he is sad and heartbroken by the passing to glory of his father, the death is expected.
“My dear father passed away last weekend reaching almost the age of 100 years. Our family is naturally very saddened and heart-broken by the news, but when somebody becomes nearly a century old then this is something to be expected. A normal cycle of life. The memories remain close to my heart and my father’s legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. May his soul rest in peace,” he wrote in the post.
