By Ahead of the maiden edition of the Progressives Youth Festival, youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State have indicated readiness to join their counterparts at the much-anticipated event.
The Lagos APC Youth Leader, Dr. Seriki Muritala revealed plans to mobilise the young progressives in the state to attend the sociopolitical gathering which is billed to hold on Saturday, February 5 at the popular Liberty Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The ‘Progressives Youth Festival’ is organised by the Youth Wing of the APC. Participants will be drawn from all the states in the Southwest region — Ondo, Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti — as well as Kwara State.
Beyond serious deliberations on national issues and the forthcoming general elections, the event will feature loads of side attractions such as musical performances, comedy, funding for young political aspirants and a chance to win N10 million Naira in a raffle draw.
A member of the House of Representatives, Shina Peller had also expressed his support for the maiden edition of the Progressives Youth Festival.
