Lagos State To Use Prince Abiodun  Ogunleye ICT Centre For Coding Classes In Ikorodu

The Lagos State Ministry of Education has released the list of centres for its free coding classes, BlackBox Nigeria can authoritatively report.

The CodeLagos Coding programme scheduled to kick off in 10 centres across Lagos State will be making use of Prince Abiodun Ogunleye ICT Centre at Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) inside the Methodist Primary School complex, Ikorodu,  as one of its centres.

The ICT Centre named after the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, facilitated by Honourable Babajimi Benson, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and commissioned March 30th, 2018.

CodeLagos is an initiative of the Lagos State Ministry of Education aimed at educating Lagos State residents for the future of work – by teaching how to write code and creatively solve problems.

CodeLagos will run in public and private schools in the state, from primary to tertiary with specialized modules developed or adapted in a way that ensures the desirable learning outcomes for the respective stages are achieved.
