Lagos State N-Power Volunteers Set To Protest Over Ambode’s Negligence

The Lagos State arm of N-Power project volunteers are all set to hit the mega city streets over the negligence of the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to accent to the exercise, which is hindering the progress of activities of the scheme.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that while volunteers of the scheme in other States around the Federation were done with verification, members in Lagos were yet to commence as the State Government have continued to ignore its needed support.

While N-Power volunteers in some other States who have completed their verification have started receiving their December stipend, others are still waiting to be credited.

A volunteer who will like to remain anonymous hinted BBN that the verification exercise before now have been scheduled at different times but were never held due to the failure of the Governor to sign to it.

The volunteer also disclosed that the planned protest is projected at seeking for the consent of the Governor so he can speedily attend to them so they can commence with their verification.

The planned protest has been scheduled to hold on Monday, January 9th. The kick-off location is Coca Cola, Alausa, Lagos State.
