Lagos State Government announces free health care throughout the duration of Lockdown

Following the discovery of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, the executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu announced that the state government will take full responsibility of medical bills of all patients with Emergency/ Casual cases, and also present themselves in any of the states secondary health facilities, that is, the 27 general hospitals and the maternal and child health facilities across the state.

This is to include the handling of Emergency casualty cases including the registration, laboratory tests, and surgeries will be treated free of charge.

All pregnant woman that’s on delivery within the month of April with Cesarean section or normal delivery will be attended to free of charge. All admissions within the period will also be covered and treated free of charge.

This is to complement the state welfare food stimulus package.

All residents of Lagos are advised to adhere to the rules and regulations of the government in other to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Remember to wash your hands with soap and water often, and also maintain social distance. Help the government to help you, health is wealth.
