Lagos Schools Adopt e-Learning, Shut Down Activities Over COVID19

 

Some high profile Private Schools have reportedly shut down academic activities over incessant increase in the number of patients tested positive for dreaded Corona virus.

A source confirmed to BlackBox Nigeria that the Schools concluded on the plans to shut down till further notice without informing the Lagos State Ministry of Education.

It was gathered that most of the Schools in the State were conducting the 2nd term examination with about 2weeks left to complete an academic term, but this have been affected by the scourge of the deadly virus.

Some of the schools reported to have shut down academic activities include Greensprings Schools (including all its branches scattered around Lagos) and Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Ikoyi.

Both schools were said to have taken the decision to shut down and have opted for e-learning for its pupils for the remaining days of the term.
