By Lagos Police Arrests Own ‘Ambassador’ Over Illegal Possession Of Firearms
A wild drama ensued today at Oshodi area of Lagos when officers of the Nigerian Police, Lagos State Command overpowered four suspects who were in possession of an unregistered firearm.
According to viral reports and clips currently circulating in the media space, popular street Hip Hop star, Small Doctor and three others were earlier today arrested for threatening to shoot a Police officer who was controlling the traffic.
It was learnt that the Penalty crooner, Small Doctor, who is also an Ambassador for Lagos Police Command was surprisingly among the suspects whom the traffic officer reported to be suspected armed robbers. They were however arrested and were taken to Police Headquarters in the State.
Reacting to this development, the Commissioner of Police, Edgar Imohimi disclosed that the four suspects, including Small Doctor were arrested on the allegations that they possessed illegal firearm as they failed to identify themselves, even as they were caught in an unmarked Sports Utility Vehicle.
CP Imohimi in his statement revealed that the popular music act will be drafted to Court on the counts of possessing illegal firearm and threatening to shoot an officer of the Law.
