By The Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, Comrade Biliamin Olalekan Oba has been inducted into the Lagos State Scout Council.
Oba, a renowned youth advocate, was decorated and formally welcomed into the foremost association on Saturday.
Speaking after his induction, he thanked the elders of the Lagos State Scout Council for the opportunity and promised to deliver on the assignment given to him.
“This is a another call to service which I am assuring the elders of the Lagos State Scout Council of my utmost abilities to the assignment at hand. The scout is not the regular organization, it’s a community of great people with total dedication to humanity. Thank you for embracing and trusting me with this assignment,” Oba said.
The Lagos NYCN chairman was also appointed as the Lagos State Scout SHQ Ambassador on Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.
This appointment comes months after he was awarded as the ‘Youth Advocate of the Year’ at the maiden edition of the Lagos Youth Awards held last December.
