By Lagos To Kaduna! How Ezenwata Transport Endangers Passengers With Overloading
An aggrieved passenger who travelled from Oyingbo, Lagos to Kaduna via God Bless Ezenwata Transport has called out the management of the transport for over loading of passengers and insecurity of lives on board during the journey.
In an EXCLUSIVE chat with BlackBox Nigeria, the passenger narrated her ordeal in the about 18 hours night journey that was so rough despite paying for the comfy of a luxurious bus, she noted that her life and that of other passengers were endangered due to the sharp practices of the driver and his bus attendants.
The passenger who prefers anonymity disclosed that moments after leaving the park in Oyingbo area of Lagos State, the driver started picking up some individuals on the road and labelled them as ‘attachment’ after collecting transport fare from them. It was discovered that some of the newly picked passengers were regulars of the procedure as some promptly drew small chairs below the normal ones in the vehicle, place them on the already tight passage and choke up the whole bus .
Apart from the overloading they were subjected to, some of the passengers were worried about the calibre of people that were wing picked on the road, as they were not properly vetted when boarding the bus like the way they were checked-in at the park. It was however a different ball game when they got to their final destination in Kaduna and some individuals discovered that their valuables were no longer in the bags.
