Chief Taiwo Adekogbe, the local government Chairman, the executive arm and all family members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ikorodu LGA chapter, on Sunday congratulated Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (BOG) on his victory at the just concluded Lagos East Senatorial district Primaries.
Gbadamosi had won the PDP’s Lagos East Senatorial primaries with a total of 539 votes, as Bob Tarner polled 21 votes,Princess Oyefusi 7 votes and Fafowora Saidat 59 votes.
The Party’s stakeholders and leaders, while felicitating with Babatunde said ;
“Our party members and leaders across the 5 LGAs had spoken by voting for you en masse to represent our great party PDP at the poll, they trusted you by giving you the party ticket, we know you will not disappoint us, we know your ruggedness, determination and intelligence will pay off to achieve victory at the bye election on the 31st of September 2020.
“We are ready as a party to canvass for votes for you and to collectively campaign aggressively to every corners of our LGA and the entire district, we are sure of victory at the end with you as the candidate, we are proud of you, we know this is our time as we are very sure that the electorates are very disappointed with APC and their failed Government, their anti people policies that has impoverished the people will be an advantage for us during the poll, we also know that their candidate is no match to you in any capacity.
“We now call on all other contestants at today’s primaries to see BOG’s victory as theirs and victory of liberation for our people in Lagos East and Lagos as a whole, we urge them to support and come together with their ideas to co operate with the party and the candidate to achieve this deserved victory on the 31st of October whenever their services are needed.
“We also appeal to the candidate BOG to carry them along during the campaign and election proper.
“Once again we say congratulations to BOG the son of the soil.”
