The moment a group of political thugs invaded a polling unit in Kogi State with guns and scare away voters is currently making rounds online.
It will be recalled that BlackBox Nigeria earlier reported about the series of violence that marred the governorship and senatorial rerun elections in Kogi State.
In the video that’s making now going viral on the internet, suspected political thugs invaded a polling unit, shooting sporadically to scare of the voters and proceeded to carry the ballot boxes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission in a statement signed by Festus Okoye ESQ, the National Commissioner and Chairman on Information and Voter Education Committee has confirmed the violence reported in several polling centers and has confirmed that the Commission is doing its best in completing the election process.
