By The last 24 hours has been an exciting one for Nigerian entertainment fans and the reason is quite obvious, it’s been good news all around.
First, fans woke up to vibes from superstar, Davido asking his “friends” to send him a million naira each and before anybody could say Imade, funds started trooping into the Wema Bank account he opened for the purpose. At the last check, the DMW boss has made almost N200million as sent by his friends.
Those who gifted the music star money include fellow stars and protégés such as Mayorkun, Zlatan, Peruzi, Ckay as well as Phyno, Mc Galaxy, Don Jazzy, Poco Lee, Victor AD and many others. Skit maker; Sydney Talker, BBNaija’s Dorathy, designer Seyi Vodi, socialite; Rahman Jago, and Toke Makinwa were also part of the early responders to the N1M call.
Some others, however, up the game by gifting Davido more than what he requested for. Some of those in this category include Oba Saheed Elegushi who sent N5million, Seyi Tinubu (2 million), Paul Okoye (3 million, 2 million on behalf of Pepsi Nigeria and 1 million as personal donation).
As if the Davido cruise donation isn’t vibe enough, news suddenly hit the air waves that what many entertainment fans in Nigeria have been expecting has finally happened.
The Okoye brothers reconciled. Yes, Psquare as we used to know them have hugged and put their five-year rift behind them. This reconciliation to all our excitement also include their big brother, Jude and everyone returning to loving Peters’s beautiful wife, Lola.
