Popular Yoruba actress Bisola Badmus has revealed her struggles with Encephalopathy, a chronic brain disorder, which led to her prolonged absence from social media.

Badmus shared the personal struggle in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday.

Expressing the severity of her condition, she revealed that she enduring the illness for over a year has been challenging.

“For over a year now, I have been battling with health issues (Encephalopathy). I cannot even wish my enemy such illness. It was a tough one indeed that made me stay away from social media,” she said.

Bisola Badmus is a known name in the Yoruba Nollywood scene and she became more popular due to her relationship with Wasiu Ayinde (KWAM1), the Fuji maestro after she confirmed having a child for him.

The actress rose to fame with her roles in key movies like “Olokiki Oru” (The Midnight Sensation) in 2009 and “Igbeyawo Arugbo” in 2010.

Her filmography boasts popular titles such as “Senators Wife,” “Afopina,” and “Laye Lorun,” solidifying her presence in the Yoruba Nollywood landscape.
