Popular Fuji icon, Ayinde Wasiu (K1 De Ultimate), is set to take the stage by storm in collaboration with fellow Nigerian singer, Abolore Akande (9ice), ahead of the inauguration ceremony of new Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As contained in a video uploaded on Kwam’s Instagram page yesterday, the king of Fuji and Gongo Aso crooner were seen having studio session together in preparation for the May 29 inauguration ceremony of the new President.
Tinubu had emerged as the new president of Nigeria at the recently concluded general election, upsetting PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of Labour Party.
Despite both opposition parties’ decision to challenge the election result in court, the preparation for the inauguration ceremony appears unhindered as Kwam 1 and 9ice took to the studio to put their acts together.
The collaboration between the two musicians will be their first since 2011 when they both released a song titled, “Health is Wealth”.
Prior to this new development, 9ice was spotted at Kwam’s 66th birthday celebration hosted by the Fuji icon’s wife.
But no one would have suspected that both musicians are cooking up something.
