Serie A giants, Juventus are keen on signing Manchester United’s outcast Anthony Martial, as they prepare a final bid for the forward.

The Old Lady seek to bolster their attack as they struggle for a top four finish. Currently sitting fifth on the Serie A table, Juventus felt the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure and are yet to find a perfect replacement for the Portuguese.

Meanwhile, Anthony Martial appeared to have caught the interest of the Turin club despite falling out of favor from the Manchester United squad. The Frenchman was left of the squad in their last against Aston Villa with Red Devils’ boss Ralph Rangnick, claiming that the player was not interested in the match.

“Anthony Martial didn’t want to be in the squad. He would have been in the squad normally but he didn’t want to and that was the reason why he didn’t travel with us,” Rangnick had told reporters, according to TalkSPORT.

However, Anthony Martial was quick to deny the claim via his Instagram handle.

“I will never refuse to play a match for Man United,” Martial said on Instagram.

“I’ve been here for seven years and I never disrespected and I never will disrespect the club and the fans,” he had responded.

It is, however, obvious that Martial is frustrated and in desperate search for a regular first-team appearance. His last appearance for United was against Arsenal in December, last year. The 26-year-old had being with Manchester United since 2015 and his current contract expires in 2024.

A move away from Old Trafford will see Martial work towards reigniting his football career. His move to Juventus will likely improve the club’s attacking threat which currently has the likes of Alvaro Morata, Dybala, and Chiesa.
