By Just In! Sanwo-Olu Goes Into Self Isolation As Another Close Aide Contacts COVID19
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has gone into self isolation following the outcome of a coronavirus test conducted on one of his close aides.
In an official statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, the step was necessary after it was discovered that one of the close aides to the Governor had contacted the dreadful virus earlier on Friday.
The statement also added that it was not the first time the Governor would be going into isolation as he did earlier in the middle of the pandemic.
Mr Omotoso while advising residents of the State to abide with all prescribed advisories of social distancing and respiratory hygiene disclosed that the Lagos State Biobank will conduct another COVID19 on Mr Governor and other members of his Team while they remain in isolation.
