Residents in Ikeja, Lagos state capital, have been in panic as an unidentified helicopter crashed into a building near the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), where it was supposed to land.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Tuesday’s evening, as the aircraft caught fire after the crash.
Although two people, believed to be the pilots, were rescued, but the number of passengers on board remains unclear.
However, emergency teams from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are at the scene.
