Mrs Hadiza Shagari, wife of Nigeria leader, Shehu Shagari is dead!
Mrs Shagari died of COVID-19 complications after battling COVID-19 at Gwagwalada Isolation center, Abuja.
This was brought to the notice of the public by her grandson, Bello, on behalf of the family
Bello mentioned that he lost his grandmother to the cold hands of death in the early hours of August 12, 2021 around 3:00am.
He went further, to mention in his statement, that the deceased’s Jana’iza (Funeral prayer) will take place today by 4:00pm immediately after Asr prayer at National Mosque, Abuja.
Mrs Shagari was 80yrs old
