By Just In! DSS Arrests EFCC Boss, Magu In Abuja
Updates reaching BlackBox Nigeria at the moment has it that operatives of the Secret Service (DSS) has arrested the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Magu was arrested at the Wuse II office of the DSS and immediately transported to the Headquarters located in Aso Drive, where it was learnt he was undergoing interrogation.
While the details of his arrest remain sketchy as at the time of filing this report, reports has it that it may be connected to ownership of four undeclared properties and also an allegations that the anti-graft boss was transferring funds abroad by proxy.
It will be recalled that the DSS had in a 2016 report accused Magu of living in a N40m mansion paid for by one Umar Mohammed, a retired air commodore who is allegedly involved in shady deals.
