Joint patrol teams recovers 99 cows, 128 sheeps, 1 donkey in Kastina

The joint patrol team yesterday, in Kadobe village of Daddara in Jibiya LGA averted hoodlums from carting away with 99 cows, 128 sheep’s, and one donkey all belonging to Tasiu Hamisu.

The joint patrol team had received a distress call from Tasiu at about 5:51 pm on Thursday that gunmen invaded the village and carted away with cows and goats.

Following the call, joint patrol team, consisting of Operation Puff Adder and sharan Daji were mobilized to the scene.

The bandits were given a hot pursuit as all possible exits routes were blocked.

In the spur of the moment, the teams engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel and succeeded in dislodging them,

The force public relations officer, SP Gambo Isah stated that investigations are currently underway necessary to trace and arrest the unrepentant bandits.
