Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has declared 3 days as mourning period for the demise of Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke who died on Sunday morning.
The mourning period was declared via the State’s official Twitter account. The 3 days commence today, Monday April 24th.
It will be recalled that Senator Adeleke died in early hours of Sunday after he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
He was scheduled to be buried on Sunday till his younger brother, Chief Adedeji Adeleke canceled the burial service and called for emergency autopsy.
A family resource revealed to press that he will however be buried today after the hospital procedure.
Ogbeni Aregbesola disclosed that the flags in State House and other places in the State will fly at half mast in respect of Senator Adeleke, who was the first civilian Governor of the State.
