Notorious kidnap kingpin, Bello Audu, alias Commander Yellow, whose gang has terrorized many along the Abuja-kaduna-Kano Expressway, has been arrested.
The 40-year-old kidnapper has been on the police watch list for armed robbery, murder, rape and kidnapping before he was apprehended by IRT operatives led by DCP Abba Kyari.
The suspect confessed to have successfully carries out over 50 kidnappings and that his gang had killed many innocent Nigerians during operations.
A Police source disclosed that “The gang had no mercy as they killed anyone who failed to pay ransom at the exact time requested.
“The members would abuse their female victims, and worse of it all is that the gang would kill a victim and still collect ransom, we thank God that he and many of his pivotal gang members have been apprehended”
