Report reaching Black Box Nigeria after much investigation is that the Instagram page, ‘Lady Titilayo Favourite Outfit’ has been dubious in its transactions thereby, defrauding Nigerians by convincing them to make payments and not delivering the items ordered for.
According to our source who pleaded anonymity and who was also a victim of this fraudulent operations of the Instagram account, recounts her ordeal.
It all started with a friend request from the account which she accepted after which she went through some of their products which was tagged “December Promo” and picked 3 items which included a shoe for ₦5,000 and two gowns for ₦12,000 each. She later decided to opt for just the shoe which amounted to ₦6,000 plus delivery fee to test the authenticity of the product as well as the seller.
After sending proof of payment to Madam Titilayo and her address for delivery the following day, she received the assurances that everything would go just as planned unknowing to our source that the deed had already been done as she was scammed.
In Madam Titilayo’s words “you will surely get what you paid for Ma because I know the consequences of taking someone sweat and I will never engage in what will destroy my future and my kids future so please ma believe me you will get your items ma”
According to the victim who resides in Ikorodu, ever since the payment was made into the Wema Bank account with the name ‘Tosin Taiwo’, her messages and calls have not been responded to even though the agreed time for delivery was due and she has also been blocked on What’sApp by Madam Titilayo.
This is a clarion call to all our teeming readers and Nigerians to beware of the aforementioned account and stay clear from having any transaction with it.
