The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to upload the complete results of the 2023 presidential polls.
Figures from the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) show that 12% of the total results are missing as only 155,923 results have been submitted and uploaded out of the 176,846 polling units that registered for the election.
Although the Commission’s Chairman Mahmood Yakubu promised that the election results would be uploaded on Election Day, results are still missing six days after the presidential election.
This missing result caused a stir on Monday at the National Collation Centre in Abuja where some party agents walked out for INEC’s failure to upload results to its viewing portal.
Meanwhile, at the just concluded 2023 polls, the Commission announced the APC Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner with a total of 8.8 million votes as opposed to his main opposing candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Ob who had 6.9 million and 6.1 million votes, respectively.
