The Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka has reacted to the law suit filed against him by Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi for mentioning him as the owner of cash found in Ikoyi by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Olayinka stated that he was not aware of any suit originating from Mr Amaechi concerning the Ikoyi discovery.
He said, “I am not aware of any letter, I am not aware of any suit.”
His response on the suit also corresponds with that of aide of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who said they were yet to get any court summons and were loosing sleep over the matter.
The attorneys of the former Governor of Rivers State, Amaechi ha warned the duo of Fani-Kayode and Olayinka to tender their apology within seven days of being served the letter or face a stiff legal action.
