Illegal Miners Arrested in Ogun State

The Operatives of the Ogun State-owned security agency, So-Safe has arrested twelve illegal miners in Ogun State.

 

 

According to the authorities in Ogun East, authorities in the South West state, the culprits were caught stealing the state government’s resources on September 28 and 30.

 

 

Speaking to newsmen, the So-Safe Corps spokesperson, Moruf Yusuf reiterated that the miners were arrested at Abeku Adekanmbi Village, Ijebu North Local Government Area, Ogun State.

 

 

He noted that the Operatives Commander, Soji Ganzallo, had directed that suspects’ case should be reported to the Corps State headquarters in Abeokuta.

 

Also, Ganzallo already ordered other culprits that escaped through motorbikes to be brought to book.

 

 

However, Yusuf noted that the suspects had earlier been transferred to the Divisional Police headquarters, Ijebu Igbo for further Investigation and prosecution.
