Enitan Jessica Abraham-Oba, the youngest local government legislative assembly leader in Lagos State, has been selected to represent Nigeria at the prestigious YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship in the United States of America.
Abraham-Oba, who is also the first female council leader in Ikorodu West LCDA Legislative Assembly, is set to embark on a journey of learning and development in the areas of leadership and civic engagement.
The fellowship program will provide her with a platform to network with other young leaders from across Africa, as well as enhance her leadership skills through training, mentorship, and practical experience.
The YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship is a flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) that seeks to empower young leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking.
The fellowship is highly competitive, and Abraham-Oba’s selection is a testament to her leadership potential and commitment to service.
