By As the July 22nd date of Lagos LGA Elections draw near, aspirants have been reeling out their plans for the electorate if eventually voted into office.
Joining the train is the All Progressives Congress’s Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship aspirants of Ikorodu Local Government; Hon Wasiu Adesina and Hon Folashade Olabanji-Oba respectively.
The Team revealed to BlackBox Nigeria that their 10-Point Action Plan is espoused in the Agenda for a Greater Ikorodu.
Topping in the plans are issues of Security, Education, Labour and Youth. It was stated that it is important to place priority on the issue of security in the community just as recent development has given one aches about the once peaceful ancient town.
The Team revealed that a community which tackles its unemployment and caters for its youth in on its way of curbing idle minds which often leads to menace.
Among the plans are also increasing the local government Internal Generated Revenue, improving Education, creating avenue for Tourism, increasing the Welfare of the constituents amongst other innovative interventions.
For development to strive better in the community, Infrastructures are also planned to be improved so as to provide a better ground for Businesses to strive.
