By A businessman and socialite, Alhaji Lookman Onabanjo, also known as Bugon, on Monday, was abducted by suspected kidnappers.
It was gathered that the Ikorodu-born businessman, was kidnapped on the way to his farm in Odoselu town in the Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State, alongside his driver and two other persons. The armed herdsmen reportedly opened fire and whisked them away.
This development comes at a time when Ikorodu Division grapples with a rising surge of abductions by unknown gunmen.
Though the police authorities in Lagos and Ogun States have already commenced investigation into the unfortunate incident, the kidnap has been linked to Iskilu Wakili.
Recall Wakili, a notorious Fulani bandit that specializes in kidnapping in the South-West, was arrested two days ago by members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in Oyo. It was learnt that his son escaped arrest.
